Edward W. Stimpson Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2013 in honor of Ambassador Edward W. Stimpson. Stimpson was a native of Bellingham, Washington who attended Harvard College and received his Masters of Public Administration at the University of Washington. He spent his career in civil aviation, ultimately serving as U.S. representative to the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), at the rank of ambassador. The award is intended to support students from Washington state who are pursuing their college education at the University of Washington or Western Washington University.
